We based ourselves with friend, Cori in Ubud in the mountains and did a couple sightseeing trips from there to see a volcano, many holy water temples, the monkey forest, and we did make it to a beach for sunset:) I was amazed at the vibrancy of Bali! The documentary starts out in Tokyo, then to Hakone- with the pirate ship, On to Kyoto with hills of cherry trees and monkeys- sorry i went over board on the monkey pics. Then to Himeji, where the most majestic castle in Japan sits surrounded by sakura and hanami lovers. Last we visit Koya-San where we stayed in a monastary and strolled through groves of old growth cedar trees and mossy shrines. I hope this inspires you to go see Japan for your self. I love love love this concept! Most brides spend more time shopping for their perfect dress than they spend in the dress on their wedding day- and that's just not right! the after wedding shoot can be done in any location you want, with as much time as you want, you can bring your hubby along or just do a solo shoot, and best of all you are already married! so no pre-wedding nerves- just relax and really get into your pictures! Jamie, a recent bride of mine and fabulous friend extraordinaire and I got together and hit the streets, we scampered around Sellwood and raised many eyebrows along the way!ok, so we haven't officially trashed the dress YET!
